The summer camp of 2023 was a joyous platter of activities presented to the students. During the months of March and April, students right from classes 3 to 9 were indulged in creating melodies, dancing to electrifying rhythms, exploring the aesthetics in painting and sculpting, and enlivening on the ground with sports. The compilation of such an exuberant camp was indeed one to remember.
An aura of glee filled Sri Prakash everyday when the vibrant camp activities came around in the afternoon. Students rushed to their respective camp arenas in Math lab, Computer lab, Library, ATL lab, Dance studio and the Conference hall with recorders, paints, accessories in their hands, all set to let the co-scholastic learning begin. Workshops on art, science, literature, and personality development were designed to foster holistic growth. Additionally, we incorporated sports, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises to infuse a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition.
The end results of such vivid enthusiasm was portrayed on the last day of summer camp, the 30th of April, when an open house was conducted at school with Ms. Vaishali Kulkarni More, a renowned lady biker from the city as the dignitary of the Event.
The programme started with an electrifying performance by the band which infused a sense of nostalgia as well as a vibe that left the audience in awe. The hall roared as the music waved through it.
Ms.Vaishali Kulkarni More, the First Solo Woman Biker of Andhra Pradesh, in her address to the gathering, appreciated the development of interests in students and encouraged them to indulge in activities for a better livelihood for themselves. She persuaded everyone by instilling that life gives us the three C’s – Chance, Choice and Change, in accordance to which we can live our life to the fullest.
The event then unfolded with a classical dance by senior girls of classes 8 and 9 to the serene song “ Ekadantaya Vakratundaya”, followed by an invigorating performance by senior boys from classes 8 through 10, rocking the stage with their choreography and leaving the crowd wild.
Juniors came in next, swooping the gathering in their swoony and adorable dance to the fusion of “chai chai, coffee coffee” and “Pikachu song”. “ they were so cute, it was perfect” a parent commented.
The stage was taken over by the senior girls next, displaying their groovy move-set to some toe-tapping songs.
The event concluded with an awards presentation to the students for the activities held in the camp and a memento presentation to our honorary guest.
A food fest was set up on the school ground by the Cookery Club of the school. The menu included various Indian delicacies to snack on. The students gathered up in exhilaration, obtaining tokens in teamwork and savouring every flavor served in this vibrant exhibition, wrapping it up with a treat.
