79th Independence day Celebrations at Kapuluppada
Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Visakhapatnam celebrated 79th Independence day with great patriotic fervor and enthusiasm on 15th August, 2025. The school was decorated with tri colour flags, creating a festive environment.
The celebration started with the arrival of the Chief guest Lt. Col. Shri Manoj Kumar Sinha, SM(Retd.), speaker, actor, poet, writer and influencer and gallantry awardee and battle injured. The flag was hoisted by the chief guest and the School band paid their respect through “Band Retreat”.
Students impressed by forming human pyramids and performed breathtaking feats of our ancient sport Mallakhamb, displaying incredible agility and strength. The celebration also featured investiture ceremony of the Student council followed by Speeches in English, Hindi and Telugu by students.
The program continued with a series of patriotic songs and dance. Fancy dress show by primary children showcasing freedom fighters entertained the audience. A special yoga demonstration by students highlighted the significance of physical and mental well-being.
The chief guest, Lt. Col. Manoj Kumar Sinha addressed the gathering with his inspiring words. He said,” Freedom struggle is not a game which was completed on 15th August, 1947 as the enemies of the country continue to plan and harm the country. There is still an opportunity to become a freedom fighter. Everyone will have a dream for themselves, they should also have a dream for the country.
This generation is the one which is going to make India a developed country. Everyone should strive for the development of the country.”
Director sir thanked Lt. Col. Manoj Kumar Sinha for accepting the invitation to grace the occasion and inspiring the children. The event concluded with a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the chief guest for gracing the occasion, director sir for giving sucn an opportunity, teachers, parents and students for making this event successful. The program was a fitting tribute to the spirit of Independence and instilled a sense of patriotism in everyone present.
