Kids’ Day Celebration 2025 — A Day of Joy and Laughter at Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan
Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan the best Cambridge International school in Vizag, echoed with laughter, cheer, and boundless energy as the school celebrated Kids’ Day 2025 with great enthusiasm and love. The celebration, filled with color, music, and happiness, stood as a heartfelt tribute to the innocence and joy of childhood.
It featured a vibrant Art Exhibition that truly showcased the creativity of our young learners. A total of 26 enthusiastic students participated, putting forward their imagination and talent with confidence. The exhibition displayed 21 beautiful art exhibits, each reflecting the children’s originality and hard work.
The venue came alive with colourful wall décors, eye-catching flower displays, and a delightful collection of Best-out-of-Waste creations, proving that creativity truly has no boundaries. The exhibition not only highlighted the artistic skills of our students but also encouraged them to explore, create, and express themselves freely.
The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the gathering by the young anchors of Grade 2, who opened the day with a playful conversation filled with giggles and excitement. Their cheerful exchange about why Kids’ Day is celebrated set the perfect tone for the joyous morning ahead.
The school band added a melodious touch to the celebration with their lively performance. They played four musical pieces, each showcasing their talent, coordination, and rhythm. The final piece, “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,” stood out with its energetic beats and perfect synchronization, earning loud applause from the audience. Their performance reflected not only their hard work and dedication but also the school management’s commitment to fostering holistic growth and nurturing every student’s potential.

Our guests were warmly received and honored with saplings, signifying growth and tradition. Their presence added grace and inspiration to the event, reflecting the school’s tradition of celebrating excellence in every form.
Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan organized a special felicitation ceremony to honour Sri Vankayala Sanyasiraju garu, a respected guest and a well-wisher of the institution.
Our beloved Director sir traditional presented a shawl and memento to Sri Sanyasiraju garu as a token of love and affection. In his address, Sri Vankayala Sanyasiraju garu expressed his delight at witnessing the discipline and talent of the students, especially appreciating the impressive performance of the school band.
He conveyed that Goddess Kanaka Mahalakshmi blesses everyone with prosperity and happiness, and praised the school for nurturing students with strong values and confidence. He also wished the students a bright and successful future.
Smt. Anuradha Nidra addressed the harmful effects of excessive screen time among children, urging parents to be role models by limiting their own phone usage. She advised to avoid using gadgets during meals, travel and to encourage creativity. She advised to be more interactive with their kids.
Mr. Pedda Verraraju Garu spoke and emphasized character building, reading, and experiential learning. He also cautioned against stress, junk food, and unhealthy hostel habits.
Smt. Geeta Ramanujam captivated the audience attention through storytelling, highlighting its role in improving imagination and listening skills.
Her engaging narration, expressive voice, and magical storytelling skills transported the young audience into a world of imagination and wonder, leaving them inspired and delighted.
The highlight of the programme was the convocation ceremony for our Kindergarten children, who are now ready to step into Class 1. The guests, along with our Director, Mr. Ch. Vasu Prakash, proudly conferred the young graduates with their certificates, marking a memorable milestone in their early learning journey.
The cultural program that followed was a delightful showcase of talent from the kindergarten and primary students. The audience was welcomed with the welcome song performance by grade 3 students. The tiny tots of LKG kicked off the performances with a lively dance to “Bop Bop Bounce”, spreading smiles all around. The UKG students charmed the audience with “Old Mac Donald Likes to Tap”, blending rhythm and innocence perfectly.
Grade 1 students presented “Yes, We Can”, a motivational performance conveying that no dream is too big for a determined heart. The Grade 2 children entertained everyone with the fun-filled “Diggi Diggi Dum – Chhota Bheem” dance, full of enthusiasm and energy. Fruit shake song by LKG and UKG was a melodious gesture of warmth that set the mood.
A song on Krishna showcased by the grade 3 students was heartfully enjoyed by the audience.
The last performance was done on-Oh My Friend Ganesha by grade 2 children, which was followed by the national anthem.
The event beautifully reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing holistic development — celebrating not just learning but also creativity, teamwork, and happiness.
