Prakashites learned invaluable lesson in the field of Photography from acclaimed Wildlife photographer Rathika Ramasamy. Explaining nuances of wildlife photography to Prakashites during a Field Workshop at Indira Gandhi Zoological Park in Visakhapatnam.

Members of Interact Club of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan collected over 1,000 blankets for poor children and 100 of them were distributed to needy children.

Chairman of Visakhapatnam Cooperative Bank Ch.Raghavendra Rao,CPI state assistant secretary J.V.Satyanarayana Murthy and Deputy Director of Rajbhat University of Bangkok Janchai Ying Prayoon gave blanket to the children from lower economic strata at a meeting. The guest appreciated the efforts of the children and encouraged them to participate in such good deeds. They also praised the school administration for making effort to inculcate such values among the children.

Passion makes people go a milestone. Accuracy marks perfection and brings out the hidden talent of a person. The well known and veteran photographers… Sri B.K. Agrawal, professionalist photographer, Agrawal Images, Sri. C.V. Subramanyam, Versatile Photographer ‘The Hindu’, Sri H. Satish, Master of Photography, World Wild Life and Nature photographer, Bangalore, Sri Dr. Gangadhar Reddy, Retd. Medical Superintendent of Govt. Eye Hospital and Regional Institute of Opthamology, Hyderabad, highlighted the event with their gracious presence. A lot of learning about the minute details of photography was enlightened by each guest enhancing their field of interest in the art of photography. Other guests advice the budding photographers to improve keen observation skills and despite their profession not to leave photography at any circumstances. Dr. Gangadhar Reddy shared the story of evolution and story of eye and important measures to have a protected vision and ocular hygiene.

On this special occasion veteran photographer Sri C. Kishan Chand, associated with Agrawal Images was felicitated for his true love and contribution to the field of photography. The photo exhibition taken by the amateur photographers of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan was inaugurated amidst joy and gaiety. It enhanced the charm and won the hearts of guests on the occasion. Students exhibited their photographs on four different themes like “Heritage Treasures of Vizag City”and Couds – Juniors, Smiles and Colours – Seniors respectively. A total of around 1400 photographs were collected and exhibited. The Winners of Young Photographers CONTEST – 2015 were appreciated and awarded by the guests. Speaking on the occasion the Director of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Sri Chitturi Vasu Prakash encouraged the Young Phographers and asked them to continue their passion and master themselves in the field of photography and get acknowledged in this global field.

Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan installed the School Interact Club 2015 -2016 by appointing M.Keval sai kumar,B.Bhavana and K.Swejan,R.Jayank maanas as the president and secretary of uplands and TPT Interact Clubs respectively with an aim to encourage and foster the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a World Fellowship of Youth, United in the ideal of service.

The School Interact Club right from its inception in 2009 has always taken up service projects shouldering its Social Responsibility and spreading the message of brotherhood and existence of equality, peace and harmony. Along with the Director of the School Ch. Vasu Prakash, the programme was adorned by the following guests –

The dignataries praised the activities taken up so far by the of Interact club Rtn. Srinivas Wuppala, Secretary, Rotary Club Visakhapatnam Port City, rendered words of appreciation on Vidya Radham, Education to the door step of the under-privileged, an initiative taken to spread literacy. He ignited the minds of the Interact Members to pool up funds to provide minimum facilities in tribal areas and to adopt a tribal school.

There was an overwhelming response and appreciation from the dignitaries on the various activities of Interact club of 2014-15 like ‘Each One Plant One’, Distribution of Eco-friendly Ganesh Idols, Distribution of Books to the under privileged to enhance reading skills, Distribution of Wheel Chairs and artificial limbs to the physically handicapped people.

Marking the occasion – A Book on the eminent Parliamentarian Late “Sri Tennati Viswanadham”, the pioneer who was responsible for the establishment of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, was released by Rtn. M. Jagadeeswara Rao, Governor RI District 3020 and other dignitaries. Interact Club has planned to organize the Quiz competition on this book in 18 Muncipal Schools and many other schools in the city.

In a seminar at Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, eminent photographer, Dr. Suresh Gorantla displayed an aerial camera called ‘Quad-Copter’. A camera has been attached to a toy like copter which rolls and pitches for elevation. He raised the copter 100 meters high from the ground and took photographs of the school and surroundings. It was a spectacular view to see the instrument flying high with a buzzing sound like a honey bee looking for photographs in the air. Prakashites were thrilled and flashed their tiny cameras to capture the tiny man-made bee. The experience would surely carry them to the next stage of their imagination and creativity. Renowned photographer, K. Bhaskara Rao garu was also present on the occasion and explained the students the superior picture quality of the instrument. He said that the quality of the pictures clicked by the Quad-Copter is a way beyond the normal photography. That wasn’t all went in the seminar. Dr. Suresh Gorantla even familiarized them with topics of photography such as long exposure and image stacking, micro lens and its photography, painting light etc. He showed a photograph of festive lights which has been clicked from a camera fixed on the bonnet of a car. He stressed on colourful and message-based photography. Dr. Suresh Gorantla, a Dentist by profession who scaled heights of success in the field of photography motivated many prakashites to follow his foot-steps.
